Chattahoochee River Corridor Tree removal permits

The Chattahoochee River has a 2000 foot Corridor on either side that requires a tree removal permit to remove the trees. To my knowledge, there is no overarching government position that issues permits in all jurisdictions. Instead the permit issuance responsibility is delegated to the local Municipal arborists where the tree Remove all has to take place. For example, Sandy Springs City Arborist issues tree removal permits for trees in the Chattahoochee River corridor in the Sandy Springs jurisdiction, and Alpharetta City Arborist issues tree removal permits for tree removal in the Chattahoochee River corridor in Alpharetta etc…
